Congratulations on your decision to continue your scuba training with the Advanced diver course. We believe you’ll find the Advanced Course truly an Adventure in Diving. The Advanced Course is a year’s worth of experience in five dives. There is one classroom session and the five out dives.

THE CLASS
Each diver will need to read and pass in the Knowledge reviews from the following chapters in the Advanced Manual. The class is very informal and the review focuses on the physics of diving and the dive tables.

  • Night Diving

  • Underwater Navigation

  • Boat Diving

  • Deep Diving

  • Underwater Search & Recovery

THE DIVES
All five dives must be made in order listed. A diver cannot move on to the next dive without first completing the one listed before it. Divers missing scheduled boat dives will be responsible to pay charter fee for make up dives.

1. Peak performance Buoyancy - Shore
2. Navigation - Shore
3. Night - Shore
4. Deep - Boat
5. Underwater Search & Recovery - Boat

THE EQUIPMENT
 Each diver must be equipped with the following equipment on every dive. Divers are recommended to supply their own equipment, however, rentals are available at student rates.

1. Mask, Fins & Snorkel
 2. ¼" Wetsuit or Dry-suit
3. Hood, Gloves & Boots
4. Weight system
5. Tank
6. Regulator with Gauges & Alternate Air source
7. BCD with Power Inflator
8. Timing device
